Minions!
This LRP game is inspired by the Bullfrog/ EA Games titles “Dungeon Keeper” and “Dungeon Keeper II”*. It is intended to be a tongue-in-cheek, light-hearted game of evil vs good, with a mixture of PvP and PvE fun. For a general idea of the setting and background for this LRP, please buy and play either or both of the Dungeon Keeper titles, lots.
You will play a dungeon Minion, one of 14 playable species (see later update for available species and their relative statistics). You have lived for many hours in the dungeon beneath the Kingdom of Delldreaming, as described in the IC Introduction. You are now part of the party sent to explore, subdue and hold the small hamlet discovered near one of your dungeon exits, with a view towards capturing the elusive Fairy Queen of the Land. Each character will have a brief based upon their species and level before the game begins, which will explain certain areas of The Plan.
What is generally known is as follows:
1) You have no Dungeon Keeper
2) All dungeons should have a Dungeon Keeper
3) Some Warlock reckons he knows how to make a new Dungeon Keeper
4) You’ve been promised a fight if you follow The Plan
*Please note this game is in no way endorsed, supported or designed by EA Games or Bullfrog. No infringement or offence is intended - the LARP is, if anything, an homage to a fantastic set of computer titles. We’re not making money from this, and not promoting it outside a small community – please don’t go trying to get us in trouble. Thank you.
